Among infectious diseases most common diseases of bacterial origin: aeromonosis and Pseudomonas.

Aeromonosis. The causative agent is aeromonad – motile gram-negative bacteria p. Aeromonas (A. hydrophila, A. sobria) related to SEM. Vibrionaceae. Hits all the main types of pond fish (carp, white Amur, carp, crucian carp). The factors contributing to the development of fish are the sharp increase in water temperature, low fatness of the fish, dense planting, poor feeding, high content of organic matter, the trauma to the fish.

Aeromonosis is acute, subacute and chronic. The acute form is observed in the spring and summer and can be accompanied by mass death of fish (70%). The disease manifests itself in the form of serous-hemorrhagic inflammation of the skin and is characterized by edema, ekzoftalm, enlarged abdomen, aresenium scales. At autopsy in the abdominal cavity detect the exudates (clear, yellowish or bloody fluid), peritonitis, hemorrhagic inflammation of the intestines, degeneration of the internal organs (increase, discoloration, foci of necrosis). By the autumn the disease takes a chronic (ulcerative) form, characterized by the presence of foci of inflammation, open and resistant ulcers on skin and fins

The diagnosis of “aeromonosis” puttin ‘ on the basis of:

clinical signs,

pathological changes of internal organs,

the results of bacteriological studies.

Pseudomonosis pathogens are virulent strains of cold-R. gram-negative bacteria Pseudomonas (Ps. fluorescens, Ps. putida). Susceptible almost all kinds of fish. A disease of pond fish Pseudomonas recorded mainly in the autumn-winter period, in the second half of winter (January-March) and may be accompanied by massive fish kills. Have a sick fish there exophthalmia, a separation of scales, increase in the abdomen. Also observed hemorrhage at the bases of the fins and the sclera of the eyes, and small gray ulcers with a red rim on the surface of the body. Anemic gills, gray. In the abdominal cavity a large amount of exudate. Changes of the parenchymatous organs resemble changes when aeromonosis. A similar diagnosis of the disease diagnosis of fish.

Measures of struggle against bacterial diseases of fish: If in the household of infectious bacterial diseases (aeromonosis, Pseudomonas) conduct sanitary-hygienic measures with the use of therapeutic agents. Hygienic measures include quarantinization affected herds, removal of the dysfunctional treatment at intensive ponds, disinfection, plowing.

To combat diseases of bacterial origin use medicated feed with probiotics and antibiotics (group method). Repairs and manufacturers are treated individually by injection. The choice of drug for the treatment of fish is based on studying the sensitivity of bacterial flora of fish to the permitted treatment.

For preparation of therapeutic feeds use Biovit-120, Biovit – 80, Biovit-40, chromogranin 5 cormagnesin-10, ansamycin, rifampicin. Medicated feed fed to fish for 10 days, 2-3 courses of palatability in accordance with existing instructions. For injections you can use the chloramphenicol, rifampicin, sulfalen.
